Kangchenjunga, the world’s third‑highest mountain, straddles the Nepal–India border. This trek offers a true wilderness experience, with the option to visit one or both Nepalese base camps—North Base Camp at Pangpema and South Base Camp at Oktang. This is the longest of the 8,000 m base camp treks.
As one of Nepal’s least‑visited trekking regions, it provides rare solitude amid spectacular scenery. You’ll cross rhododendron forests, traverse high mountain passes, and take in expansive views of the Kangchenjunga massif from multiple vantage points.
