This popular trek leads you to the gateway of the world’s highest peak—Mt. Everest (Sagarmatha in Nepali, Chomolungma in Tibetan). Your adventure begins with a thrilling twin‑prop flight to Lukla, followed by a gradual ascent through rhododendron forests, across long suspension bridges, and through traditional Sherpa villages.
From the key Sherpa hub of Namche Bazaar, the trail continues toward Tengboche, Dingboche, and Lobuche. Along the way, enjoy sweeping views of Ama Dablam, Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse, and visit Tengboche Monastery, the spiritual heart of the Khumbu region.
The return journey follows the same valley, with the option to ascend Kala Patthar—a renowned viewpoint offering panoramic vistas of Everest and neighbouring Himalayan giants.
(Everest’s North Base Camp, ~5,200 m, lies in Tibet, China, and is accessible by road.)
