Known as the “Savage Mountain,” K2 is the world’s second‑highest peak. This trek through Pakistan’s Karakoram Range follows the mighty Baltoro Glacier—one of the longest outside the polar regions.
Starting from the last permanent settlement of Askole Village, you’ll trek across rugged moraines, navigate dramatic glacial terrain, and camp in remote wilderness while taking in spectacular views of four 8,000‑meter giants: K2, Broad Peak, Gasherbrum I, and Gasherbrum II.
The route leads to Concordia, the famed “Throne Room of the Mountain Gods,” where several major glaciers converge. From Concordia, the Godwin-Austen Glacier provides access to K2's base camp.
(K2’s North Base Camp is located in Xinjiang, China.)
(Same approach for Broad Peak, Gasherbrum I and Gasherbrum II base camps)
